Want to know what 5 Beauty Products I would NOT Repurchase!?
It’s almost overwhelming how many products come out in the beauty industry every year. Some are highly anticipated while others can be questionable… not to be rude, but you know it’s true!
I love telling you about products that I absolutely love and would totally recommend… but in reality, there are also products that I have tried that just didn’t work out for me.
I have tried a lot of beauty products over the years and there are a few that I would definitely not be repurchasing. This doesn’t mean that these are bad products, it just means that they didn’t work for me personally. Every product is going to work different for each person because our skin / bodies all have varying needs.
If you want to find out 5 Beauty Products that I would NOT Repurchase then keep reading!
Fenty Skin Starter Set
Alright, so if you have been following along you probably already know that the Fenty Skin Starter Set was not for me. In all honesty, it just did not work well with the needs of my skin.
The starter set retails for around $52.00 and includes a 45 ml cleanser, 50 ml fat water and 30 ml moisturizer.
I was soooo excited for the launch of this skincare line because Rihanna included all of the essentials for a great skincare routine. Not to mention, all of the products are completely inclusive to all skin types and skin tones which I really, really love!
Unfortunately this skincare line was too heavily fragranced and really irritated my skin which was disappointing. For that reason, I definitely will not be repurchasing these products as they just didn’t work harmoniously with my skin.

Verb Volume Dry Texture Spray
I am all about a good texture spray, so I was sooo excited to try out the Verb Volume Dry Texture Spray.
I had honestly heard pretty good reviews about this product and I was loving the price point! This product retails for around $20 for 5oz (182 ml) which is significantly cheaper than similar products that I am used to using like the Living Proof Dry Volume Blast ($40 for 7.5oz) or the Bumble and Bumble Dryspun ($38 for 3.6oz).
Unfortunately I find that whenever I use this product my hair won’t hold a style. For example, my curls won’t even last an entire day in my hair, when normally my curls will last upward of 4 days.
Sadly, this texture spray just didn’t preform how I was expecting it to on my hair.
Sephora Collection Vegan Lashes in “Fringe”
Okay guys, the Sephora Collection Vegan Lashes in “Fringe” used to be my go-to lashes for YEARS! These lashes had the perfect balance of volume with a slim band so they were so easy to apply!
They retail for around $13.00 per pair which is very affordable in my opinion!
A while back, Sephora re-branded these lashes. The packaging is now different, but the lashes look and feel exactly the same as before. The only difference that I noticed after the re-brand was that they were no longer durable. For example, if I was cooking in the kitchen, or even placing something into the oven, any form of steam, heat or moisture would instantly deform the lashes. I’m not kidding you guys… the lashes would instantly frizz and curl up to the point of no return.
I have never experienced anything like this at all when it comes to false lashes and am not sure what causes them to do this now. I love everything about these lashes, but the lack of durability and fact that they sometimes can’t even last one day if it is humid out has caused me to no longer repurchase these lashes.
Has this happened to any of you before!? Let me know!
KVD Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner
I know a lot of you will be shocked by this one… but hear me out!
I have always been a huge fan of the KVD Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner. I love the formula and how easy it is to apply! It is also smudge proof and lasts all day! BUT I found that I would constantly be running out of product or it would dry up SO quickly. I found myself repurchasing this eyeliner more often than I should have.
This eyeliner retails for around $27.50 for 0.019oz (0.55 ml).
It honestly just wasn’t worth it for me to purchase this product at this price point when there are other fabulous liquid eyeliner pens for significantly cheaper that last a lot longer.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
First off, Tarte is one of my all time favourite beauty brands when it comes to make up! I love that they create Vegan products without the use of harsh ingredients.
Since I am obsessed with so many Tarte products, I thought I would try out the Lights Camera Lashes Mascara. It had unique packaging and claimed to be both volumizing and lengthening… the perfect combo if you ask me!
This product retails for about $30.00 for 0.24oz (7ml).
I found that every time I would use this mascara, I would get a ton of fall out with tiny flakes of mascara landing all over my cheeks. The fall out also irritated my eyes slightly. For these reasons, I won’t be repurchasing this mascara.
