Never Skip A Cleanse
You’ve probably heard it time and time again… never go to sleep without washing your face first! The fact of the matter is cleansing the skin regularly is essential for maintaining healthy glowing skin.
Cleansing the face helps to remove dirt, oil and dead skin cells so that you can achieve clear, healthy skin. This will boost hydration, remove any impurities and help prevent a buildup of bacteria so that your skin can maintain a balanced pH level. Cleansing regularly keeps the skin fresh and clean so that other products that you may use such as serums and moisturizers can properly penetrate the skins surface and work their absolute best!
Regardless if you have makeup on or not, you should always wash your face twice a day 🙂
Use a Gentle Exfoliator
Exfoliating the skin helps to remove any dead skin cells and clean out the pores to remove any impurities. This allows our complexion to glow and look perfectly radiant! Keep in mind that over exfoliating, or using a harsh exfoliator can irritate and even damage the surface of the skin. Your skin will be happy and thriving if you provide it with lots of moisture! A good, hydrating moisturizer will help your skin to feel plump, healthy and appear youthful. Moisturizers also create a barrier over the skin to protect it from harsh climates and any irritants.
Consider looking for products that contain Hyaluronic Acid. This ingredients is life changing for the skin! It keeps the skin super hydrated throughout the day by attracting and retaining moisture.
Vitamin C is Key

I honestly can’t stress enough how much washing your makeup brushes can improve your skin. It helps to avoid spreading excess dirt, oil and bacteria into the pores which can cause breakouts. I recommend washing foundation and concealer brushes every 1-2 weeks for best results.
Avoid Touching Your Face
According to medical studies, healthline has observed that on average people touch their faces more than 16 times per hour! Imagine all of the particles and different bacterias that we are transferring onto our faces.. gross right?!
Our finger tips contain a ton of natural oils plus any other bacteria that we may pick up from touching surfaces throughout the day. All of that gets transferred onto our skin and can clog up our pores causing acne and breakouts when we continuously touch our faces. By making a conscious effort to avoid excessively touching our faces, we can really make a positive difference in our skin!
