Let’s make my Mouth Watering Blackberry Moscow Mule!
Today I am sharing my spin on the mouth watering classic cocktail, the Moscow Mule! I have to say, this is probably one of my all time favourite cocktails. They are super easy to make and are served in that iconic copper mug we all know and love!
Honestly, Moscow Mules just seem to taste soooo much better in a copper mug… anyone else with me on this one??
A good Moscow Mule is all about the ginger beer! It will make or break this cocktail in my opinion and by using a good quality product you can ensure there will be no shortage of flavour! It should be fresh, vibrant and have a spicy finish.
Fever Tree is by far my absolute favourite brand of ginger beer. Personally, I always like to add in a little bit of ginger ale into my Moscow mule recipes because I find it balances out that delicious spicy kick of ginger that the Fever Tree ginger beer brings.
I’ve noticed how amazing the blackberries at the grocery store have been lately, so I figured what better way to use them than in a cocktail recipe to kick start the weekend!
Fun fact, it also tastes extra good as a double 😉
Go ahead and give it a try for yourself! I sure hope you enjoy my fruity blackberry spin on this classic Moscow Mule recipe!
Ingredieents:
- 1 oz vodka
- 4-6 fresh blackberries
- 1 fresh lime wedge
- A few sprigs of fresh mint
- Fever Tree Ginger Beer
- 2 oz ginger ale
- Fresh lime for garnish
- Ice cubes
Method
In a cocktail shaker muddle the fresh blackberries and 3-4 fresh mint leaves.
Squeeze a wedge of lime into the blackberry mixture. Add a few ice cubes and pour the vodka on top. Shake until all of the ingredients are combined.
Pour the mixture into a copper mug and add additional ice cubes if needed. Pour in the ginger ale and then fill the rest of the glass with the ginger beer.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint, a fresh blackberry and a fresh slice of lime and your cocktail is ready to taste!
I hope my Mouth Watering Blackberry Moscow Mule was everything you hoped for!
