I love any opportunity to be able to whip up something delicious for everyone to share. Holidays are a great time for this! With St. Patricks Day right around the corner, you bet I will be making a yummy appetizer with a touch of green to get in the spirit.
The recipe for my Avocado Ranch Dip is a total crowd pleaser that is easy and approachable! It is perfectly creamy and packed with a ton of flavour!
Think of all the yummy garlicky and herbaceous notes you find in a traditional ranch, combined with the smooth and creamy texture of avocado. Seriously a match made in heaven!
Move out of the way Charcuterie, it’s time for the Crudités appetizer platter to shine!
I love a good charcuterie board any time of the year, although when everyone starts getting festive around St. Patricks Day, all of the green has me getting into full springtime mode! I love all of the fresh and colourful ingredients that come along with that time of year!
One of the EASIEST ways to enjoy all of these fresh springtime veggies is to replace the charcuterie board with a yummy Crudités Board! If you have never heard of that term before, it simply means an appetizer consisting of different raw vegetables, sliced and arranged next to some form of dip.
Whether its traditional ranch, hummus, spinach dip or guacamole… dips always seem to be a hit on any platter!

Whipped Goat Cheese with Honey and Pistachios
Avocado Ranch Dip
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Salt to taste
Method
Add the avocado, plain yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro and dill into a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Once blended and smooth, add salt to taste.
Serve with fresh veggies and enjoy!
