Let’s get festive with a crave-able Cranberry Lychee Martini!
Around the holidays, my family and I always like to shake up a delicious Cranberry Lychee Martini… or two 😉 This recipe isn’t too strong, so you can definitely enjoy more than one!
Unsweetened pure cranberry juice, vodka and lychee liqueur all shaken until frosty and topped with fresh cranberries… DELICIOUS. Who knew that 4 simple ingredients could taste so good!
So, you are probably wondering… what exactly is Lychee!?
Lychee is a fruit that grows from tropical evergreen trees native to Southeast Asia. This unique and aromatic fruit is know for its undeniable sweetness. The perfect flavour to add into a festive martini!
Tips to make the best Cranberry Lychee Martini
- Make sure that you are using unsweetened pure cranberry juice and not cranberry cocktail. The Soho lychee liqueur is fairly sweet, so you want to make sure you have unsweetened cranberry juice to give you a perfectly balanced martini.
- If you find the Soho lychee liqueur a bit too sweet for your liking, then you can adjust the proportions of the recipe by adding less Soho lychee liqueur and substitute it with extra vodka.
- I like to buy fresh cranberries and then freeze them. This allows you to always have cranberries on hand and ready to go for whenever you are craving one of these martinis! I also find that frozen cranberries help to keep the martini nice and cold as you sip away.
