How to make these Easy Baked Greek Meatballs
Honestly this recipe could not get any easier to make!
My secret is baking the meatballs! This saves saves so much time and the best part is… there is barely any clean up! All you need is a large bowl to mix up all of the ingredients by hand and a baking sheet to bake them on.
There is no fussing around or any complicated steps. Just simple baking techniques that anyone can do!
How to serve Greek Meatballs
These Greek Meatballs can be served on an appetizer platter or as a delicious weeknight meal!
My favourite way to enjoy them is with a side of fresh tzatziki sauce for dipping! Tzatziki has got to be one of my all time favourite dipping sauces… it seriously makes everything taste better. Light and fresh with a hint of lemon and garlic.
To complete the meal, I like to serve these Greek Meatballs and tzatziki with a side of greek salad that is topped with salty feta and olives! As well as some extra crispy greek roasted potatoes!
You can also makes these Greek Meatballs and tzatziki into a bowl with greek salad and some fresh grilled pita bread! It is also extra yummy when you place the greek meatballs, tzatziki and greek salad on the grilled pita and enjoy it as a wrap!

Easy Baked Greek Meatballs
Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tsp lemon zest (about the zest of 1 small lemon)
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
8 soda crackers, crushed
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt (about 1 tsp)
Method
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Use the convection feature to bake if you can.
Place the ground beef into a large bowl. Next add the finely chopped red onion, egg, lemon zest, fresh parsley, fresh mint, crushed soda crackers, dried oregano, garlic powder and salt. Combine all of the ingredients using clean hands.
Once the ingredients are fully combined, form the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in size.
Place the meatballs onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip each meatball. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon zest if you like and serve with tzatziki for dipping.
