Hello Lovelies!
My No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls are perfectly chocolatey and packed full of good ingredients… even though it feels like you’re cheating on your diet when you eat them because they are so damn good 😉
This recipe is so simple and easy to make! A great option for a quick on-the-go snack! Whether you are looking for something yummy to grab as you rush out the door, or a snack to munch on while you drink your morning coffee and catch up on your fave TV shows, this is the recipe for you!
These little balls of heaven remind me of the no bake cocoa cookies that both my mom and grandma would make and set out at holiday get-togethers! I remember being so tiny that my sister and I had to stand on a stool just to see the kitchen countertop while we helped mom stir the batter.
I am sharing a much healthier recipe that mimics a few of the yummy flavours of that sweet treat from my childhood. Even though the recipes are totally different, they are both quick and easy, no bake recipes filled with oats and of course chocolate!
Every time I make these No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls, it always reminds me of the lovely, unforgettable memories of cooking with family!
Give them a try! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Quick Oats
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1/2 cup Ground Flaxseed
- 2 scoops Protein Powder, the flavour of your choice
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 5 Medjool Dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil, melted
- 1-2 tbsp Warm Water
Method:
In a dry, non-stick frying pan, toast the shredded coconut until golden brown.
In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients (oats, shredded coconut, ground flaxseed, protein powder and cocoa powder). When it comes to the protein powder, you can really use whatever flavour you like best. I have used vanilla, chocolate and cookies and cream in the past which have all been delicious! Gently stir all of the ingredients until they are combined and set aside.
In a food processor, add the pitted dates and blend until you have a thick paste.
Add the blended dates, peanut butter and melted coconut oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Add 1 tbsp of warm water and combine the ingredients (it is easiest if you use your hands to mix) and then add another tbsp of warm water if needed.
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Once the ingredients have finished chilling in the fridge, roll into 1 inch balls and they are ready to eat! This recipe should yield about 20 balls.
Enjoy!
